The IN GREEN brand began in 2005 with the development of eco-friendly biodegradable resins known as PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) as alternatives for chemical resins using polymerized materials purchased from the US’s Cargill. The brand became the first in the world to succeed in reforming, and is now producing and exporting infant products made from 100% PLA materials to Europe and Russia as a major Korean infant product brand.
While existing PLA products were only heat resistant to the point that they could only be used in temperatures of between 45℃ ~ 55℃, IN GREEN was able to develop a method that made use in temperatures of up to 90℃~100℃ possible, and applied them to infant products and lifestyle products. From October 2008, the brand also developed and commercialized fabric used in baby clothes, children’s wear, underwear, and so on.
The existing PLA materials of other companies are based on grains, making them sensitive to melting point temperatures during the production process, creating problems of impact and tensile force in products. However, products from the IN GREEN brand have overcome the problems of heat resistance, impact, and tensile strength through the first successful case of PLA reforming, guaranteeing the highest level of quality possible.
(Patents have been or are being registered in Korea, Japan, Europe, US, etc.)
